Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Brad Nicholson, founder of Angry Elf Products.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked as a professional tattoo artist, helping thousands of people turn their stories, memories and passions into permanent artwork. Throughout that journey, I’ve had the privilege of building a successful tattoo studio, working with clients from all walks of life, and achieving milestones I could never have imagined when I first picked up a tattoo machine.
Today, I’m one of only 24 tattoo artists worldwide licensed by Lucasfilm, the only UK tattoo artist licensed by WWE, and a licensed Magic: The Gathering artist. Those opportunities weren’t built overnight. They were earned through years of dedication, consistency, and an obsession with delivering the highest standards possible.
For most of my career, I never imagined I would be building a product company.
Like many artists, I spent years recommending products to my clients, helping them care for their tattoos long after they had left the studio. But over time, I found myself asking the same question:
If I care this much about the tattoos I create, why wouldn’t I care just as much about the products I recommend afterwards?
That simple question became the foundation of Angry Elf Products.
What started as an idea inside my tattoo studio quickly became a passion project. I immersed myself in product development, ingredient research, cosmetic regulations, packaging design, branding, compliance, and every other challenge that comes with creating something from the ground up.
There was no large company behind the scenes, no team of investors, and no shortcut to the finish line. Just a determination to create something I could genuinely stand behind.
After countless hours of testing, learning, refining and rebuilding, Angry Elf Products was born.
What makes this journey special to me is that it didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in a working tattoo studio, built around real conversations with real clients. Every product has been shaped by nearly two decades of hands-on industry experience and a genuine understanding of what tattooed people want from their aftercare.
The same values that helped me build my tattoo career now sit at the heart of the brand: quality, honesty, attention to detail, and pride in the finished product.
Today, Angry Elf Products is growing beyond the studio environment and into the wider retail market, bringing professional-quality tattoo aftercare to customers, studios, retailers and stockists across the UK.
We’re still at the beginning of the journey, and that’s what excites me most.
The goal has never been to create just another aftercare brand. The goal is to build a trusted British brand that people genuinely believe in — one product, one customer and one relationship at a time.

Looking Forward
What started as a simple idea inside a tattoo studio has become something much bigger than I ever expected.
The mission remains exactly the same as it was on day one: create products I’m proud to recommend, build relationships based on trust, and continue raising the standard for tattoo aftercare.
